FAQs

Problem: No audio from the iPad. Solution: Even if the volume for your iPad is turned up it is still possible that the speakers are muted. Some apps (including the Music app) ignore this mute setting so you will hear audio from these apps even though the speakers are muted. However, my hymnal app does not bypass this mute setting so you will not hear audio from my hymnal app if it is muted. Solution: Make sure that it is not muted and that the volume is turned up. From the Home screen, press the Home button two (2) times. The multi-tasking bar shows up at the bottom. Scroll all the way to the left side. You will see the mute icon. Press it to turn off or on the mute. Alternatively, you can turn off the mute using the mute switch on the top right corner of the iPad. However, this switch will not work if you have configured it to disable the iPad orientation rotation.
